cannot and do not guarantee that aCrypt is legal everywhere in the world
- it is your role to check that you are not breaking any local laws. Below
are some general guidelines, as we understand the current situation.
Patents
aCrypt
does not use any restricted cryptographic algorithm.
Using
aCrypt in North-America
The
use of aCrypt is legal in North-America. Sending self decrypting archives
out of North America is also legal - these archives are not able to encrypt
anything by themselves. Importing the full aCrypt program into North-America
is legal. Exporting the full aCrypt program out of the USA may or may
not be legal depending on your location or citizenship.
Using
aCrypt in the
European Community
The
use of aCrypt is legal in the EC. Sending self-decrypting archives is
also legal. Exporting and Importing the full aCrypt program may or may
not be legal depending on your location or citizenship.
Legal Update

Canada, Japan, US, Australia, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Switzerland,
